Introduction
The International Spring School on Visualization entitled Seeing Through Lies: Mapping Trust in the Age of Misinformation was hosted virtually by the Department of Geoinformatics at Palacký University Olomouc from April 1-2, 2025. Over the two days, various lectures and workshops were held that focused on innovative and data-driven approaches to mapping trust as well as critical thinking skills in relation to false narratives and misinformation. The event was highly interdisciplinary with speakers from the fields of geography, science, psychology and politics.
